Leominster Rotary take part in Kids Out event.
Westfield School about to enjoy their tractor ride
Leominster Rotary again took part in the nationwide annual event called "Kids Out". Rotary utilised some of the funds raised from the generous donations of the local community to take Otter Class from Westfield School to Newbridge Farm Park near Ledbury. There the children, who have a range of learning difficulties and disabilities, enjoyed tractor rides, a farm walk, a play area and learning about and handling a variety of animals. They were also given lunch, kindly provided by Leominster Inner Wheel, and we know that they all thoroughly enjoyed their day - as did the teachers and staff! Considering the weather the day before the outing everyone was very lucky as it was a dry day, which made the trip even better. At the end of the day all of the children received a gift from Rotary to take home with them.
