GCSE Results 2015: Simply the best ever
The first cohort of students to complete their entire secondary education (11-16) to GCSE (or equivalent) examinations at the recently built £22million Earl Mortimer College and Sixth Form Centre in Leominster have smashed records and set a phenomenal benchmark for others to follow!
Principal Adrian Long commented, “We are proud that our students have excelled themselves. Results continue to rise year-on-year, further confirming that the work of our students and staff is superb”.
Headline Data:
* A stunning 99% of students earned 5 A*-G passes at GCSE.
* 49% of students earned A*-C passes including English and maths.
* Almost 20% of the cohort earned the English Baccalaureate suite of subjects, hoping to exceed the national average once again.
* We are very encouraged by the large number of students (74%) who made three levels of progress in English throughout their five year career at EMC, comfortably exceeding the national average.
* Very proud that all students of GCSE Polish achieved 100% pass rates between grades A* and A!

* Holly Tatton with an astonishing 8 A*-A grades.
* Rachel Pendlebury, Ryan Dorn and Kieran Levett with a tremendous 21 A*-A grades between them.
* Thomas Morris and Szymon Pipczynski with a commendable 6 A*-A grades each.
