Are you interested in becoming a Volunteer Driver?
Community Wheels provides a transport service for North and Central Herefordshire. The purpose of the service is to provide door-to-door transport for people who do not have access to a car and are unable to use public transport due to mobility difficulties or because of the non-availability of the service.
Now into its 30th year, Community Wheels supports a customer base across the county and due to it’s on-going success, we are now in need of new volunteer drivers!
Our drivers use their own cars and hours are completely flexible – you give as little or as much time as you would like and we will reimburse you to help cover the running cost of your vehicle.
The basic requirements are that you are over 25 years of age and have held a full driving licence for more than 2 years. We expect your vehicle to hold a current MOT, insurance and road tax and ask that it is clean and tidy inside.
If you enjoy driving and meeting people please ring Wendy on 01568 617722 to discuss becoming a volunteer driver, joining the Community Wheels team and helping to make a difference to people within your local community.
